TNSK’s Uchi no Shishō wa Shippo ga Nai (My Master Has No Tai) rakugo manga is confirmed to inspire a TV anime. A teaser video and main cast have been revealed.
The series takes place in Japan’s Taishō era (1912–1926) and follows Mameda, a shape-shifting tanuki girl who dreams of becoming Rakugo storyteller, and her master Bunko, a supernatural creature who also transforms herself into a human. M.A.O plays Mameda and Hibiku Yamamura plays Bunko.

TNSK debuted the manga in Kodansha’s Good! Afternoon magazine in January 2019. Kodansha published the manga’s fifth compiled book volume on March 5, and it will publish the sixth volume on August 5, 2021.
