In a kickstarter update released today (22nd March) the team behind the Igarashi Koji’s upcoming Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night has announced that the game will no longer be coming out for the Wii U, but instead coming on Nintendo Switch.
The game’s kickstarter campaign start in July 2015 and since then has raised over 550,000 USD becoming the most funded video game on kickstarter.
Those who pledged for the Wii U version will automatically be changed to the Nintendo Switch version unless specified. Backers will be able to choose between the other consoles the game will be available on, or ask for a refund.
Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night is due out in 2018 on PC/PS4/PS Vita/Xbox One/Switch.
