Nakaba Suzuki’s The Seven Deadly Sins manga franchise is getting a new spin-off anime film titled The Seven Deadly Sins: Grudge of Edinburgh and it will focus on Meliodas’ Son Tristan. The two-part anime film will debut in 2022 worldwide on Netflix.
The Seven Deadly Sins: Grudge of Edinburgh features a new original story created by the manga’s author Nakaba Suzuki. While inheriting the power of the goddesses and the demon, Tristan has a past that hurt people because he could not control his power. This is a story centering Tristan who meets new friends and heads to Edinburgh Castle to protect his beloved family.
Bob Shirahata is directing the anime, with Noriyuki Abe as supervising director. Rintarou Ikeda is penning the script for the film. Alfred Imageworks and Marvy Jack are animating the film.
