WFS announced that its Another Eden: The Cat Beyond Time and Space mobile game is having a collaboration with Chrono Cross, the 1999-released PlayStation RPG published by Square Enix, starting from December 9. The collaboration will be available worldwide for all servers simultaneously.

The collaboration event will feature an original scenario written by Masato Kato, who was involved in the development of both titles. It allows players to enjoy a new story born from the intersection of the two worlds. In addition, Yasunori Mitsuda and Nobuteru Yuuki, core members who worked on the original Chrono Cross, have overseen the project.
New Game+
The event also adds the features of the original Chrono Cross game, for example, a New Game+ system is available for you to replay the Symphony from the beginning after clearing the story! This is Another Eden‘s first branching story made possible by the capability of playing more than once.
Elements
You can also equip “Elements” on the collaboration characters Serge, Kid, and Harle. Elements, which are used to change the character skill, are obtained by joining the collaboration event, Complex Dream. These three characters will have voices for the first time!
In addition, Serge, Kid, and Harle can each accumulate “power levels” during battle. The skills they learn with Elements become more effective according to how many power levels they’ve accumulated.
Field Effects
Battles that occur in Complex Dream have “field effects” applied to them.
When a specified type attack is performed by either an enemy or ally, the color inside the field effect changes from the inside out. It will apply a “type attack+” effect on all enemies and party members corresponding to the number of colors.
