At yesterday’s live broadcast programme, Chain Chronicle unveiled the details of their latest collaboration event with TV anime series Shaman King from December 16 to December 27.
▍Chain Chronicle x Shaman King Collab Story
The Shaman Fight Tournament has begun, with Asakura Yoh and the others spending their days fighting each other. One day, they find themselves on a peculiar island called Spirit Island. There, they meet a group of people who call themselves the Volunteer Army. After following them to a village, where he finds Anna Osorezan and even Jeanne. Yoh not only learn about their friends’ whereabouts, but also finds that Hao also makes his way into this world. Their fates intersect in an unexpected way…
▍Chain Chronicle x Shaman King Collab Characters
Six characters from the anime will be participating in the collaboration event as SSR units. Here’s a list of who will be included, as well as their special skills.
■ Asakura Yoh (CV: Yōko Hikasa)
Special Skill: Amida-Ryuugo Light Sword
Thrusts a sword infused with light at enemies, downing them. Then, applies a temporary buff to all allies’ ATK. If this attack is used in the 3rd chain or later, the effect increases.
■ Asakura Anna (CV: Megumi Hayashibara)
Special Skill: Demon’s Swearing
Deals medium damage to all enemies, downing them. Then, applies a temporary buff to all allies’ ATK and CRIT RATE. This effect increases if this special skill is used as the 1st Chain and onwards.
■ Usui Horokeu/Horohoro (CV: Yūji Ueda)
Special Skill: Neikefuikekiroro
Deals a small amount of damage to all enemies in the front row, downing them. Then, another attack is done to all enemies in the front row, this time dealing a medium amount of damage. After his attack ends, applies a temporary buff to all allies’ ATK, DEF and attack frequency speed. This effect increases if this special skill is used as the 1st Chain and onwards.
■ Tao Ren (CV: Romi Park)
Special Skill: Golden Vorpal Dance
Deals 10 hits to all enemies in the front row, downing them. If the enemy has a shield, it is broken after the animation ends. After his attack ends, applies a temporary buff to all allies’ ATK, DEF and attack frequency speed. This effect increases if this special skill is used as the 1st Chain and onwards, and requires one mana node to execute.
■ Iron Maiden Jeanne (CV: Yui Horie)
Special Skill: Judge and Execution
Attacks all enemies near Jeanne, dealing medium damage and shooting them back. At the same time, during this attack’s animation, the enemy’s Attack and DEF are temporarily reduced. After her attack animation ends, increases the HP cap of all allies, and further buffs their ATK and DEF. This effect increases if this special skill is used as the 1st Chain and onwards, and requires one mana node to execute.
■ Asakura Hao (CV: Minami Takayama)
Special Skill: Spirit of Fire
Summons a fire spirit that deals great damage to all enemies in the front row, blowing them away. This action will also down the enemy. After the animation ends, grants a buff to all allies’ ATK and DEF. Can activate this skill using 1 Mana Node.

▍Battle BGM Changes to “Soul salvation!”
During battle, the BGM in the event will temporarily shift over to an arranged composition of the anime’s opening, Soul Salvation! Furthermore, if you set any of the aforementioned characters as your party leader, the exclusive BGM will keep playing on your home screen, even after the event ends!
