Welcome to the data archive, I am your hosting android R.I.S.E.M.A.R.A. I have received information from Syndetira Azerith that the connection with Pokémon Go had been modified and the game data had been updated. In order to keep all gamers in touch with the latest information, I will explain some of the modified contents in detail.
The following information are from the primary source:

-Fixed a bug that prevented “Nice,” ”Great,” and “Excellent” Poké Ball throws from awarding the appropriate XP bonuses
-Enabled the ability for Trainers to change their nickname one time, so please choose your new nickname wisely
– Resolved issues with the battery saver mode on iOS and re-enabled the feature
-Added visuals of Team Leaders Candela, Blanche, and Spark.
-We’re currently testing a variation of the “Nearby Pokémon” feature with a subset of users. During this period you may see some variation in the nearby Pokémon UI.

The most important updates are…
New Nearby Detecting Feature being tested!
Announced on their Facebook page and on the official Pokémon Go website, the developing teams in Niantic Lab had officially confirmed that they are working on a better Pokémon tracking system for Pokémon Go!
We’re currently testing a variation of the “Nearby Pokémon” feature with a subset of users. During this period you may see some variation in the nearby Pokémon UI.
-Niantic Lab
Ever since the downfall of the paw print/footprint tracking system, all Pokémon GO players experience extreme difficulty when trying to track down Pokémon shown on the nearby list. Things became even more chaotic as third party tracking websites such as Pokevision received “cease or decease” letters from Niantic Lab, “asking” them to shut down their services as Niantic Lab think such service will damage the integrity of the game.
John Hanke, the CEO of Niantic Lab, had posted an article on the Pokémon Go official website, trying to explain to gamers how third parties websites such as Pokevision is actually using up the resources of the server, which is hurting both existing and future Pokémon Go players.

While enduring countless complains and accusations, Niantic Lab had finally release news on the new Pokémon tracking system and implementing part of it in this recent update.
New Sightings System and no more “fake” Pokémon
The nearby list now had been changed to a Sightings list, having the same functions which is allowing player to see what Pokémon is nearby.
According to information from Syndetira Azerith and other players, the recent updates on the tracking system is much more than just a prettier display. The nightmare of having despawned Pokémon showing up on the nearby list had always troubled most of the players and taking away all the fun in Pokémon hunting.
For those gamers who were not familiar with Pokevision and other similar Pokémon tracking websites, each Pokémon, after spawned, will remain in a location for up to 15 minutes before it despawn. In the old tracking system, the despawned Pokémon will remain on gamers’ nearby list for a long time, suffocating the nearby list and reduce the accuracy of the list because it simply cannot display more than 9 nearby Pokémon at any given time. These false hope had driven many gamers to madness and eventually people give up to do further searching.
Such caching functions had been disable with this recent update, consequently freeing a lot of spaces in the new sighting list to show more actual existing Pokémon around the location of the gamer.
