The Korean media, Inven dropped a trailer for Netmarble’s upcoming The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin open-world game, which is set to arrive on PC, consoles, and smartphones. The announcement was made in the Netmarble Together with Press live broadcast event held in Korea on January 27.

According to the media, the new game will be a sequel to The Seven Deadly Sins: Grand Cross with a multiverse worldview. The player can go on an adventure in the continent of Britannia where time and space are intertwined with Tristan, the new protagonist.
As it is an open-world title, unlike the previous work, you can freely move around the world, and directly manipulate the characters from the original series to engage in real-time battles.
The world itself looks vast, and there will be underwater areas to explore, as we can see Meliodas climbing the wall and diving into the sea to obtain a treasure chest in the trailer. Players will apparently be able to call on other characters to help them, as we can see when Meliodas summons Diane to create a bridge.
Unfortunately, there is no official release date for the game, but we will certainly keep you posted when Netmarble makes the official announcement.
