SNK shared an animated video for the upcoming highly anticipated 2D fighter, The King of Fighters XV. The animation is directed by Masami Obari, the character designer and chief animation director of the Fatal Fury: Legend of the Hungry Wolf series.
This gorgeous animated movie is to hype players up for the game’s release as it draws ever closer. This movie can also be viewed in the “KOF XV” main game gallery when it officially comes out on February 17, 2022 .

The King of Fighters XV is the latest entry in the fighting game series “THE KING OF FIGHTERS”. Six years have passed since the release of the previous title, KOF XIV, and now KOF XV is complete, with graphics, system, online, and everything in between! A total of 39 characters will be available upon release.
This latest entry features some colorful graphics with a wider roster and telegraph movesets that are easier to execute, which is needed for such a technical fighting game as this. In addition, the game will feature a main campaign that revolves around Shun’ei and how he acquired his mysterious powers at a young age. The game will also have a story for other characters on the roster.
The King of Fighters XV is coming to PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC-via Windows 10, Steam, and the Epic Games Store worldwide on February 17, 2022.
