Marvelous announced today on the Japanese broadcast of the Nintendo Direct that a new “Juvenile RPG” LOOP8 will release on Nintendo Switch, PS4, and Xbox One in 2022.
In LOOP8, players take the role of Nini, who lives in a rural town while trying to find people possessed by the “Kegai”, monsters that threaten humans. In your daily life, you can build relationships with the people around you and train them for the battle against the Impure, but all has to be done with a limited amount of time.

▍Realistic Looking Characters!
The characters that appear in the game are like real people, with their own intentions and desires, and act according to the atmosphere and relationships with the people present.
How you, the player, interact with them, and your “choices” will affect their emotions and actions. Building the “human relationships” are the key to progressing through the game. Relationships also bring about significant changes in your behaviour in battle.

Once you find the person possessed by the “Kegai”, you will be able to enter the Kosenhirasaka, a space between worlds that allows you to confront the Impure itself.
The relationships and training you have built up up to that point will determine the outcome of your battle with the monsters.
