Square Enix started streaming a new teaser trailer of Dragon Quest Treasures, a spin-off game of the popular Dragon Quest franchise! Square Enix has yet to announce which platforms the game will be for. More details to come in June.
Announced back in the series’ 35th Anniversary, Dragon Quest Treasures features characters from Dragon Quest XI, Erik, and his sister Mia, who search for treasure with their friends in a different world when they are a child. This work is a new spin-off work and is said to be developed separately from the Dragon Quest series.

Dragon Quest is the original JRPG series by Square Enix, the series began on exactly May 27, 1986, exactly 36 years ago. The series is beloved by JRPG fans globally and is a massive phenomenon in Japan with millions of adoring fans. The series sparked an urban myth that the game was only to be released on Saturdays rather than the norm of releasing it on Thursdays because it was too addicting! Though this was actually an internal decision made by Square to help curb kids skipping school to buy the game!
