The “PRISM☆IDOL” music video, which is a collaboration song by ZINGS, the main unit of Phantom of the Idol anime, and Shin Ichijo from the King of Prism multimedia franchise began streaming on Avex pictures’ official YouTube channel.
Furthermore, the short version of PRISM☆IDOL will be available on all music distribution services starting today. The full version will be included as a bonus CD in the first volume of Phantom of the Idol Blu-ray, which is set to be released on September 30.

Prior to the release of the collaboration song, an episode movie is also being released. You can enjoy the drama of how the three members who respect each other realize the live performance of the collaboration song “PRISM☆IDOL” with their newly recorded voices.
In the episode movie, we see the reason why the signature King of Prism characters are painted on the wall of the live house that appears in the first episode of Phantom of the Idol. You can watch the video here:
▍About Phantom of the Idol
Phantom of the Idol is a Japanese comedy manga series by Hijiki Isoflavone. It has been serialized in Ichijinsha’s shōjo manga magazine Monthly Comic Zero Sum since December 2017 and has been collected in five tankōbon volumes. An anime adaptation of the manga premiered on July 2, 2022.
The comedy series centers on Yuuya, one-half of the boy pop duo ZINGS, also known as the laziest performer in the Japanese music industry. His partner is out there giving 110% every night, but Yuuya’s half-assed, sloppy dancing, and his frankly hostile attitude toward the audience, have the fans hating him and his agent looking for any excuse to cut him loose.
After a particularly lifeless concert appearance, Yuuya meets a girl backstage, and all she wants from life is to perform. There’s just one problem: She’s been dead for a year. If ghosts are real, is spirit possession really that much of a stretch?
