Masahiro Sakurai, creator of the Kirby series and Super Smash Brothers, opened a brand new youtube channel titled “Masahiro Sakurai on Creating Games”. The channel’s goals and videos are about as clear-cut as the name implies, with the game developer making a short series on the various aspects of game design, his works, how you can level up your game design with some careful considerations, and why certain games behave the way they do.
While Sakurai himself has been very humble about his channel, as of writing he has already amassed over 216,000 subscribers, with four videos on the channel already. The channel is a personal project of his, and something he started after releasing his final daily screenshot series on Twitter of Super Smash Bros Ultimate.
