Shift-Up’s new action game Stellar Blade, previously known as Project EVE is coming to PS5 in 2023, under the publishing direction of SIE, making this another title to add to Sony’s exclusive lineup.
Stellar Blade takes place on Earth, with the protagonist Eve visiting the city of Xion, the remains and remnants of the last surviving humans on Earth sleeping in Cryopods. Humanity has been waiting to rise from its slumber after a massive calamity struck the earth, and unleashed monsters called the NA:tive onto the planet. Cut, slash, and shoot your way through difficult bosses and gorgeous levels, with the fate of humanity in your hands.

A long time ago, the Earth and humanity was ravaged by an invading alien species called the NA:Tives, wiping out most life on the planet, leaving it desolate and a shell.
You play as Eve, a seemingly surviving member of humanity, or an android who lands on earth to reclaim the planet. Eve is then led by Adam to the last surviving city, Xion, where she meets the elder of the town Orcal and is told many stories. In order to serve her mission to save Earth, Eve develops close relationships with the key members of Xion and contributes to rebuilding the city.
On a mission to save Earth from the NA:tive, Eve is also faced with helping out the citizens of Xion. Whether you will help the survivors or not, depends purely on your decision as the player.
▍Stellar Blade Gameplay
Stellar Blade introduces action combat that requires deflecting and evading the NA:tives’ attack at a precise timing, opening up opportunities for vicious combos and unique skills such as the powerful Beta and Burst skills during combat. Parry, dodge, cut and shoot your way through foes in this fast-paced action game, focusing primarily on encounters with tough bosses in this bleak world.
