Square Enix announced and unveiled a new teaser trailer for their upcoming game project Towa Tsugai (トワツガイ). The free-to-play game is said to be a “tsugai-training fantasy RPG”, which is set to release for iOS and Android in 2023 in Japan.
ILCA’s Nao Shiromoto, who is known to participate in the SINoALICE project is credited for the original work and worldwide setting. MONACA’s Keiichi Okabe (Tekken and Drakengard series) and Shotaro Seo (Yuki Yuna is a Hero) are composing the music. Yukisame is the original character designer and the project will have a marketing partnership with Animate.
Details about the game are yet to be revealed, but a teaser site previewing its gorgeous music has been opened under the tagline of “The Second Death”. In Japanese, “Tsugai” means a pair or couple, while the bonding between the two teased girls is apparently the focus of the game.
