It may be the middle of December, but Path to Nowhere is gearing up for a warmer winter with its upcoming summer-themed Dreamy Bubble event on December 20.
The event adds new characters Serpent and Mess, alongside new stage environments, new interrogations featuring the pair, a new event story mode with minigames and new outfits for Roulecca and Eirene. Like with the previous event, you can take this opportunity to pick up tons of new promotions and level-up materials to further level up your Sinners while enjoying a brand new event story featuring a detective agency’s invitation to uncover a mystery.

■ Serpent (Umbra Tendency)
Serpent is a new SSR Sinner belonging to the Umbra Tendency character class, and she uses a flying sickle to attack her enemies while dealing magical-type damage instead of physical! Serpent has a unique attack mode where if she isn’t blocking any enemies, her attack range is expanded to nine squares and deals additional damage. After she’s hit enemies 6 times, she can damage everyone in that AOE for 300% damage and then applies the Snake Teeth debuff to them!
When Serpent’s skill is charged up, she can slam her chain into the ground dealing up to 1080% Damage to all enemies while also dealing 1 core damage to everyone and applying the Snake Teeth debuff on her enemies. If Snake Teeth is applied twice, enemies take an additional 200% spell damage instantly!
■ Mess (Fury Tendency)
Mess is a powerful Fury Tendency character with a strong weapon-switching gimmick. Her skill changes her craftsman hammer to the Evil Sword, which deals significantly more damage while reducing her attack speed slightly and lowering her attack with each hit.
That might seem like quite a down-side, but every time Mess attacks with her hammer, her total attack increases, so he idea is you’ll want to be smacking at enemies with her hammer to build up more damage, then unleashing all of it in a quick burst by switching to her Evil Sword! When she swaps to her Evil Sword she also buffs that attack of allies surrounding her, making both a strong duelist and a decent support character.

We’re also getting two new outfits, these are for Roulecca and Eirene! These beach-themed outfits change their looks and battle effects, and Eirene’s special Seaside Sunset outfit is also a Live2D skin!

The game’s new event mode will feature several new battlefields and enemies, check out a preview of these varied stages with a pixelated dragon boss, beachside resort, chess-like arena and even a cool beach stage!
▍Path to Nowhere New Event Modes
As with new characters, Serpent and Mess are coming to the game with interrogations, letting you learn more about the pair whether you’ve unlocked them or not, while also netting you some Hypercubes.
The event is also adding a new Secret Dreams minigame, which essentially has you picking the differences between two photos to earn a reward. Can you find all the differences from this photo below?
The game is also having a Dreamy Bubble event mode. It hasn’t been unveiled how this mode will work yet, though judging from the board below the event’s story will be about investigating a scene of a crime, gathering evidence, before finding the culprit and closing the case for good.
