Light novel series Ryuo no Oshigoto! (りゅうおうのおしごと!) announced an TV anime adaption yesterday (12th July). A key visual is now public on the newly launched anime website.

The novel written by Shiro Shiratori (白鳥士郎) has already got an manga adaption illustrated by Kogetaokoge (こげたおこげ) on Young Gangan. The plot revolves around shoji, a kind of Japanese chess mastered by the protagonist Yaichi Kuzuryu. A 16 year old boy originally titled as the king in the shoji scene, he loses many matches consecutively due to stress. When Yaichi is at his lowest, the nine year old Ai Hinazuru appears and requests to be his student.
