The anime film adaptation of Satoko Narita’s children’s book The Klutzy Witch released a new trailer and visual, announcing that the film is debuting early next year!
The Klutzy Witch’s new trailer revealed that Kensho Ono and Ayane Sakura will be playing the roles of Keith and Lilica respectively. The anime is being directed by Takayuki Hamana at Production I.G with Kiyoko Yoshimura on the script, and Marumi Sugita on character design.
The Film is set to debut in Japanese cinemas on March 31

▍About The Klutzy Witch
Also known as Rakudai Majo, the series is a popular Japanese Children’s novel series written by Satoko Narita, beginning on October 2006 and is still ongoing with 17+1 volumes
The story follows a young apprentice witch Fuka on a journey filled with magic and love. Each volume of the series follows a different scenario, with Fuka running into weird situations including helping a lost princess, wandering into the circus of darkness, solving the mystery behind a ghost island, and many more.
The anime film is titled after the 2nd volume of the series, in which Fuka and her friends receive an invitation from the Witch of Darkness to a dangerous amusement park, where several traps and dangers await them!
The film was announced in 2021, to celebrate the novel’s 15-year anniversary.
