Shredder’s Revenge is an ’80s-inspired beat ’em up where players take the roles of Leonardo, Donatello, Raphael and Michelangelo, and other friends in a quest to take down Shredder and his Foot Clan henchmen. Players can live through old-school gameplay enhanced with newer, snappier combat mechanics and discover adventures in a new story mode featuring tubular cinematics and deliciously animated pixel art.
The game features solo and online 4-player coop, where players can match up using friend codes to party up and play both story and arcade modes. The Netflix App version of the game will offer limited cross-play, where linking will only be available between iOS and Android players whereas the console/PC versions of the games are limited to Xbox and PC.
The last update to the game was as recent as December when the game added custom arcade modes, more robust graphic configurations, and numerous bug fixes. Tribute Games and their publisher Dotemu seem to be expecting to continue supporting the title moving forward, which is promising to fans jumping in on the mobile experience.
