Exnoa announced a new original video animation (OVA)Tenchi Muyo! GXP Paradise Beginnings Arc is currently under production to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the franchise. The project, which released its teaser trailer a few days ago, has now revealed its main cast, staff, and a key visual. The OVA connects the 4th and 5th seasons of the long-running franchise and will be released on Blu-ray with pre-orders beginning at the end of January 2023.
Tenchi Muyo! Ryo-Ohki, created by Masaki Kajishima and Hayashi Hiroshi, and produced by AIC in 1992, has inspired and been adapted to a variety of media, including TV anime series, films, light novels, and manga series.
Shin Tenchi Muyo! Ryo-Ohki Gaiden: Tenchi Muyō! GXP is a new version of the GXP TV anime that aired in 2002 and depicts the new story of the protagonist, Seina Yamada, a high school boy with amazing bad luck.
The staff from the Tenchi Muyo! anime series will return to the OVA with some new faces, including Masaki Kajishima original story writer, who supervised and drafted the character designs, Hiroshi Negishi as general director, Takashi Asami as director, Nana Hiiragi as animation character designer and Hideki Shirane as the writer of the series composition and script.
However, the main cast has been renewed with Hirofumi Nojima in the role of Seinan Yamada, Satsuki Yukino playing Tsukiko Masaki, Rie Tanaka playing Miki Steinbeck, and Megumi Toyoguchi playing Kirche.

Tenchi Muyō! GXP follows Seina Yamada, a high-school boy with amazing bad luck, that became involved with space by chance, working his way through the GP Academy, which trains Galaxy Policemen, and achieving great success in capturing and destroying numerous space pirate gangs.
His life changed forever when he became involved with the Galactic Federation and other entities involved in the very foundations of the universe. And with his new wives (?) returns to Earth, but only for a short time before he is assigned to a new mission. What awaits him is misfortune!?
