Aozora Under Girls!
青空アンダーガールズ!

Japanese Gamer Reactions:
"This game is better off sold to DMM to be turned into an H game."
"What should have been an idol game feels like sumo wrestling…"
"CG looks too cheap, better off watching an iDOLM@STER MV."
"This is the game world’s equivalent of underground idols, right?"
"The songs aren’t bad, but it feels a little outdated."

Square Enixs’ real idol game, following the previous Project Tokyo Dolls, but the game still isn’t really a rhythm game, instead, it is more of a light card game. the original concept of the game is to have players draw cards and enjoy their characters performing different songs, but the in-game models aren’t exactly up to Square Enix Standards. Even though the highly established iDOLM@STER increased their drop rates, Aozora Under Girls!’s drop rates are at a mere 1.5%. I guess you can really praise their courage…

Gamer Reactions:
"Gacha for arms and legs, as well as pilots. Makes me hesitate…"
"The game is fun and the characters are cute, recommend!"
"Why are all the good looking characters 3 stars!?"

Developed in Hong Kong, Qubot Pixel Fighters (direct translated title) is a fast paced pinball-esque mobile game which emphasizes on robot creation. Players can create equip different robot frames with a variety of different parts to build a robot of their liking. Unfortunately, the game features only one gacha system for pilots and machine parts. It could be due to this, developers has made the drop rates quite friendly to players. Although it would be night to have separate gachas for pilots and machine parts…

Japanese Gamer Reactions:
"Support local creations!"
"The game’s system is quite well designed."
"2D character designs are barely alright, but the 3D models are okay."

A new mobile game also developed locally in Hong Kong! Although the game doesn’t really score high in terms of originality in gameplay, developers spend an incredible amount of effort in creating a diverse selection of job classes to allow players to freely create their own teams and try out different strategies. The only downsides to the game is the QTE-like (Quick Time Event) controls and the lack of defeat animations for enemies. With flashy character skill effects and animations, it seems like a waste to not have some sort of defeat animations for enemies to go alongside it.

Unlight: SchizoChronicle

Japanese Gamer Reactions:
"iOS version isn’t coming out the same time as Android…"
"The PC version was already slow enough, how can this be worse?"
"The game’s story is severely lacking, doesn’t look good."

Originating from a Japanese browser card game, which spread even to Chinese communities, Unlight: SchizoChronicle is the mobile port with additional changes including illustrations. Unfortunately, it seems not a lot of the fans accepted the new mobile version. With a lack of story and lengthy gameplay (each round takes around 10 minutes), it seems only hardcore fans can bare to play this game.
