Capcom and Sony unveiled a new trailer for Street Fighter 6, revealing the rest of the game’s 18-character base roster with Zangief, Lily, and Cammy!
The trailer gives us a good preview of the three characters, from Zangief and Cammy’s redesign to Lily’s attack styles and motifs ranging from Mexico. Zangief and Cammy in particular seem to be retaining most of their abilities from Street Fighter V, with the addition of a new move and command normals.
Street Fighter 6 launches on June 2, 2023.

The trailers shows off a bit of gameplay from these three characters, and their new designs, let’s take a brief look at what we could see in the trailer!
Zangief in particular seems to have more strings to his command normals, letting him snag 3 hit combos and a knockdown, and he even retains his Tundra Storm from Street Fighter 5, sadly it looks like the big man won’t be retaining his green hand, though the new movement options in SF6 will likely help him out a lot in that department.
Cammy’s also looking fresh with her new redesign, trimming down her hair significantly while the tassels on her new outfit remind you of her old twin-tail design. It seems this time her EX moves will have the same properties as her old VT1, letting her combo multiple EX moves for loads of damage. It even looks like she has a new cannon spike, or at least the Heavy version will cause her to charge up before unleashing a more powerful one.
Cammy’s new super art also references her assassination technique used in the 1994 Street Fighter 2 animated movie!
And Lily’s the brand new character hailing from Mexico. She attacks primarily with two weapons and is focused on the motif of winds and spirits. Her special attacks seem to focus on multi hits with lots of spinning motions and flying in directions, in some way resembling T.Hawk and Rashid’s movesets.
