Last week, TV anime series Dagashi Kashi (だがしかし) announced a second season for 2018 release. A preview video for the new season is now available.
Dagashi Kashi is based off the manga series of the same title by Kotoyama (琴山) and serialised in Weekly Shonen Sunday. The story revolves around Kokonotsu Shikada, whose father runs a sweets store and wishes him to inherit it. Shidare Hotaru is the daughter of a business man who owns a successful snacks company. Her surprise visit to recruit Kokonotsu changes his boring daily life and ignites his passion in snacks and sweets. The manga is still running.
