After being delayed from its initial release in January 2023 due to “various circumstances”, the staff behind season 2 of the anime Birdie Wing: Golf Girl’s Story released a new trailer for the anime and announced its debut on April 7.
The trailer shines the spotlight on the various teams and characters in the golfing world while hyping up the upcoming matches that Eve will have to go up against, while still being under the watchful eye of the mafia. The trailer also previews the anime’s opening theme song, which seems to once again be “Venus Line” by Kohmi Hirose.

▍About Birdie Wing: Golf Girls’ Story
Birdie Wing is an original TV anime series centered on the women’s golf scene, produced by Bandai Namco Pictures
Birdie Wing follows the story of Eve, an amateur golfer who uses a crude, but effective style of play to play in money matches with various challengers in unsanctioned matches to earn enough money for her family and their business. On a regular day however she plays up against Aoi Amawashi who manages to thrash her in a one-hole match. In awe at Aoi’s skills and obsessed with overcoming her defeat, she heads to Japan to attend the same all-girls golf program with Aoi in the hopes of taking the golf world by storm.
Amidst their newfound friendship and goals though, Eve is targeted by the Nafrece mafia from her home country and has to face off against their numerous challenges, while also having her life threatened.
