Bayachao has revealed the release date of the Japanese action RPG, Nine-Tailed Okitsune Tale, which is scheduled for May 21 for PC via Steam supporting both English and Japanese languages. The game’s demo version is also available giving a glimpse of the engaging gameplay before its official release.
Nine-Tailed Okitsune Tale is a top-down Japanese action RPG where players take on the role of the mischievous nine-tailed fox, Kohaku. The game revolves around Kohaku’s quest to capture a malevolent spirit that was accidentally unsealed. Players will utilize Kohaku’s transformative abilities to resolve various disturbances occurring throughout the city.
In the demo version, players can experience basic action combat scenes, interact with characters in the city, and complete sub-quests for rewards based on the requests of the city’s inhabitants.

Take on the role of Kohaku, a mischievous nine-tailed fox on a quest to save the Capital of Nasubigahara from evil spirits. Kohaku must transform into various forms to catch these spirits and grow stronger as they solve a series of anomalies. Despite being originally notorious, players must help Kohaku gain the trust of the residents and bring peace to the city.
The game features scenarios that will challenge players to think strategically, with more than 20 characters each with unique voices. The fantasy worldview is brought to life with a soundtrack by Mr. aaaa and beautifully hand-drawn graphics by game creator Bayachao. Nine-Tailed Okitsune Tale is designed as an action RPG for beginners and can be played with either a keyboard or a gamepad.
