Koei Tecmo Games announced the release of the fifth DLC for its RPG Atelier Ryza 3: Alchemist of the End and the Secret Key, which is currently available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam. The highlight of this new update is the introduction of a new region, Rosca Island, and an addition of the developer, Gust’s signature BGM.
▍Atelier Ryza 3: Alchemist of the End and the Secret Key DLC & BGM Pack
Rosca Island, a brand-new open-field region, is packed with exclusive world quests, characteristics, items, traits, and a new climate. The monsters inhabiting Rosca Island are more powerful than ever before, making it a challenging area for seasoned players who have progressed their characters.
To enjoy the additional Rosca Island content, players need to have cleared the main game. Upon loading the Clear Data and choosing “Just Before the Ending,” players can immediately start exploring Rosca Island. If “From the Beginning” is chosen, the main quest needs to be progressed until just before the final battle before the new content can be accessed at the Atelier.
In addition to a new region, Koei Tecmo also released the Gust Extra BGM Pack in Atelier Ryza 3. This package contains over 400 songs from the Atelier series and other Gust titles, a treasure pack for fans of Gust’s work. BGM from the pack can be changed via the “Diary” option located on the desk in the Atelier.
The DLC is priced at USD$7.99, and the “Gust Extra BGM Pack” is available for USD$4.99. Both are available for purchase and download on the PlayStation Store, Nintendo eShop, and Steam. The DLC also comes with the Season Pass. So if you have the Season Pass or the Digital Deluxe with Season Pass, there is no need to purchase it separately.
Atelier Ryza 3’s sixth DLC will launch before the end of July 2023. The free update will also add an additional area “Ashra-ram Baird Outlying Areas,” with new exploration areas and world quests. It shall not be a stranger to the series fans, as it is based on the royal capital Ashra-ram Baird featured in Atelier Ryza 2. Stay tuned for more details!
