The Dungeon Travelers series is making its way to PC and it’s sooner than you’d think, as it’s actually coming this Friday on June 9 for PC via Johren.
Dungeon Travelers 2 and Dungeon Travelers 2-2 are now available on Johren’s website, and can be purchased for USD$19.99 each, or your regional equivalent, and is currently at a 10% discount for pre-orders. Both titles include all the game’s original DLC content, and Dungeon Travelers: To Heart 2 in Another World is not yet available on the website.
It should be noted for those that wanted to purchase the games on Steam, the developers did previously mention that due to “difficulties in Steam’s review process” the game won’t be making it to the platform just yet.
▍About Dungeon Travelers
Dungeon Travelers is a dungeon-crawler RPG developed by Stnig Entertainment, and is a spin-off to the To Heart 2 Franchise, initially taking the characters from To Heart 2 to a whole different fantasy RPG setting.
The series has you take on the role of an adventurer with a party, going through dungeons, picking up loot, and avoiding traps while battling enemies in turn-based combat. The game is primarily played in the first-person perspective on a grid, similar to other RPGS of the genre like the SMT series and early Persona games. Party members can belong to a single class with multiple subclasses available after meeting certain requirements.
As you battle you’ll seal anthropomorphic versions f many monsters and have fairly risque-looking scenes and images pop up on the screen.
The game was previously heavily censored from its Western and Japanese releases, and while Shiravune hasn’t explicitly stated whether or not the censorship will remain in this, its struggle to pass Steam’s review process may be an indicator that it’s keeping the game mostly uncensored.
