A demo version of Sabotage Studio’s latest turn-based RPG Sea of Stars is available now on PC via Steam. The demo was previously only available on the Nintendo Switch in February.
Promising the Sabotage touch in every system, the game aims to modernize the classic RPG in terms of turn-based combat, storytelling, exploration, and interactions with the environment, while still offering a hearty slice of nostalgia and good old, simple fun. The game stars Valere and Zale, two characters with the same fate of becoming Solstice Warriors. Each share the power of the Sun and Moon to perform what is known as Eclipse Magic to fight against an evil alchemist, The Fleshmancer.
Sea of Stars is set to launch for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam on August 29, 2023!

Sea of Stars takes hundreds of thousands of years before the story of The Messenger, which was the developer’s previous ninja side-scroller from 2018. The game follows two playable main characters as they train to defeat the villainous alchemist known only as The Fleshmancer. Sea of Stars also serves as an RPG that explores the time-honored themes of adventure and friendship, while providing the unexpected twists and events that are the hallmark of Sabotage’s work.
Combat in “Sea of Stars” is purely turn-based though it employs a system in which players. 6 playable characters have 4 different spells or skills with different damage types and patterns and can be used in conjunction with others. The characters’ techniques can be combined with those of the other characters.
