Path to Nowhere will be launching the Eternal Nightmare event on July 18, bringing with it new sinners, a completely new rogue-like event format, new outfits, mirages, and interrogations.
This time Path to Nowhere will be introducing new Reticle Tendency and Endura Tendency sinners, in the form of Dreya and Uni who can both be picked up in the new Celestial Shadows banner. The event also features completely new mechanics, in the form of a rouge-like event that has you picking teams of pre-made sinners, and depending on your performance will reward you with currency to redeem for rewards.

The Celestial Shadows banner begins on July 18! This banner brings with it the previously mentioned S-Rank Sinner Dreya and A-Rank Sinner Uni, both boasting unique mechanisms for their archetypes and can be picked up along with increased rates for Ninety-Nine and Mcqueen.
Dreya is a Reticle Tendency Sinner with a shorter range compared to other snipers similar to Summer. Dreya’s kit revolves around her initial attribute. Whenever an ally deals “Life Loss” damage, or DoT to an enemy, she gains M-Value, which when capped out causes her to enter a Corruption State, empowering her attacks to become even more devastating.
Dreya’s Passive causes her to inflict a Life Loss debuff to all enemies in her attack range after a certain number of attacks, letting her gain M-Value on her own. Her ultimate deals damage to all enemies in a 3×3 range, and resets the duration of Life Loss effects. When she’s in Corruption State, her basic attacks hit twice, and her ultimate gains even more power based on how much damage the enemy took from Life Loss effects.
Uni is an Endura Tendency character with a unique attribute in that her attack range reaches a 4×3 range in front of her. Uni’s main draw is behind her Ultimate, Mirror Refraction, which grants 3 Mirror Shields to an allied sinner.
Mirror shields let an ally evade incoming damage once per shield, with the damage evasion being based on Uni’s maximum defense, meaning if the damage the ally would have taken exceeds that amount, they’ll still take the hit. After the damage is evaded the shield explodes, dealing damage to a 3×3 radius around the shielded character.

The Eternal Nightmare will be added to the game! This event looks to be a rogue-like game mode where players can pick between teams of Sinners, with each team comprising a set of characters, and depending on which team and difficulty you choose, your Profit Rate which determines your end rewards will decrease, or increase.
The mode has you exploring multiple nodes on a map, each with a randomized event that will trigger and your team will face the consequences in randomized fights and choices to make, affecting their progress.
As you progress through the event you can purchase items that will buff your entire team, as well as new sinners to add to the pool that you can pick from, letting you diversify your strategy with more options. Your sinners can also be imprinted with powerful buffs to make the runs easier, but be warned as the further you progress, they may be faced with mental debuffs that reduce their performance, and you have to decide whether it’s more valuable to buff your team, or get rid of these curses.
▍Path to Nowhere New Attire
Ninety-Nine will also be getting a new attire as part of the Nostalgic Time Series, showing off a much more powerful version of the character before she was restrained by the MBCC. This outfit can be purchased for a limited time from the in-game store.
▍Path to Nowhere New Interrogation and Mirage
As part of the update Uni will also be receiving a new Interrogation, and Mirage this time won’t have an Interrogation for her character, but rather a Mirage stage, letting you earn even more gems while also diving deep into their characters.
