Honkai Star Rail is launching its Version 1.3 update “Celestial Eyes Above Mortal Ruins” on August 30! The update will bring forth a brand-new area and three new characters including Imbibitor Lunae, the incarnation of Dan Heng in the first half of Version 1.3, followed by Fu Xuan, the Master Diviner of the Xianzhou Luofu in the second half! But that’s not all, as a new member of Gepard and Serval’s Landau family will be introduced!

▍ Honkai Star Rail Version 1.3 Characters
Say hello to three new characters in Honkai Star Rail Version 1.3! Two of them are 5 stars, and one of them is a 4-star. The 5 stars are Dan Heng’s incarnation, Imbibitor Lunae, as well as Fu Xuan, the Master Diviner of the Xianzhou Luofu. The 4-star is Lynx, a member of the Landau family.
In the first half of Version 1.3, Imbibitor Lunae’s banner will take the stage, with Yukong, March 7th, and Asta as the featured 4-star rate-up characters. His Light Cone, Brighter than the Sun, can also be obtained at the same time.
Fu Xuan’s banner will debut in the second half of Honkai Star Rail Version 1.3, and will feature Hook, Pela, and the new character, Lynx as 4-stars with an increased drop rate! In addition, her Light Cone, She Already Shut Her Eyes, will also be available at that time.
In battle, Dang Heng is an Imaginary character. His ability allows him to consume multiple Skill Points to unleash powerful abilities. Depending on the number of enhancements triggered, the basic attacks will transform into different forms. His Ultimate attack deals Imaginary damage to a single target and to any adjacent enemies, while also receiving a fixed amount of Squama Sacrosancta stacks.
As for Fu Xuan, she is a Quantum Preservation character. However, unlike other Preservation characters, Fu Xuan’s skill, Known by Stars, Shown by Hearts, she instead absorbs the damage that her allies take, and anyone inside her skill’s AOE has their HP and Crit Rate increased. And her Ultimate deals Quantum damage to all enemies!
Last, but not least, we have Lynx, a Quantum Abundance character. Her skill, Salted Camping Cans, restores HP and boosts their Max HP. If that skill is used in a Preservation character, the chances they’ll be targeted by the enemy increases. Then, her Ultimate, Snowfield First Aid, restores HP and dispels the debuffs on her allies.
▍ Honkai Star Rail Version 1.3 New Story
In this Honkai Star Rail Version 1.3 Update, we’ll get yet another update to the Xianzhou Laofu story, titled Obsequies Performed, a Long Road Ahead. After the battle with Phantylia, the Trailblazer and his companions successfully solved the crisis with the Ambrosial Amber.
But now comes the recovery part, and they must assist the inhabitants of Laofu to restore the locations that have been damaged by the attack. One of the areas we’ll be working on restoring is called Aurum Alley.
In addition, four new Companion Quests will be added in Version 1.3. The Dragon Returns Home, for Imbibitor Lunae, Total Recall for Lynx, Farther than the Snow Plains for March 7th, and Mo Cuishle for Luka!
▍ Honkai Star Rail Version 1.3 New Features
With so many characters coming, you might be wondering: Gosh, how am I going to get resources to farm them all!? But worry not, as there is new stuff coming! Starting from the Honkai Star Rail 1.3 version update, the Trailblazer Power cap will be increased from 180 to 240. And that’s not all, as a small percentage surplus of that can be stored as Reserved Trailblaze Power!
In addition, you’ll be able to use special stickers when chatting with your friends! Similar to Genshin Impact, there are several character stickers you can use.
Next, a new option will be added to the Settings menu where you can automatically reject any friend requests you receive. And lastly, starting from the Aurum Alley’s Hustle and Bustle event, you’ll be able to obtain Phone wallpapers! These allow you to change how your main menu (Esc key, OPTIONS on controller) looks.
▍ Honkai Star Rail Version 1.3 Events
In the Aurum Alley’s Hustle and Bustle event, you can help the residents repair the new area. To do this, you must direct the cranes and help sort out the logistical issues from the damaged areas. Playing this event will also give you a free copy of Sushang, and some Self-Modeling Resin, alongside the first-ever Phone wallpaper.
Next up, we have the Simulated Universe: The Swarm Disaster event. Named after a swarm catastrophe from ages ago that Tayzzyronth, the Aeon of Propagation, Herta, and Screwllum have made a new update to the Simulated Universe in order to uncover the intricate history and the confrontation between Tayzzyronth and other Aeons. In this event, you’ll navigate through dynamically generated domains, face various challenges along the way, and hopefully unlock the thrilling new “Path of Propagation” within the Simulated Universe.
Continuing on, we have the Space Station Task Force event. The repair process of the Herta Space Station is going smoothly, but all of a sudden, some of the researchers become unable to access some of the files, and some of the high-ranking researchers are bogged down with piles of work. It’s up to you, the Trailblazer, and your special access card, to help sort out some of those issues.
And last, but certainly not least, we’ll once again have the Gift of Odyssey Event, where you can get up to 10 Star Rail Passes in Star Rail by logging in during the Version Update period! If you wanted a chance to get Imbibitor Lunae, now’s your chance!
