▍About Peace Maker Kurogane
Peace Maker Kurogane is the sequel manga to Shinsengumi Imon Peace Maker (新撰組異聞PEACE MAKER). They are both written and illustrated by Nanae Chrono (黒乃 奈々絵). Shinsengumi Imon Peace Maker finished in 2001 in Monthly Shonen Gangan while Kurogane is still on-going in the same magazine. The story revolves around Shinsengumi, the special police force in Japan’s Bakumatsu period. After Tetsunosuke Ichimura’s parents are brutally murdered, he enters Shinsengumi to train and prepare himself for revenge. As his relationship with the Shinsengumi members develop, he finds something more important than just hatred.
The series had a TV anime adaption from 2003 to 2004. Some cast members have been changed.
