Amid a series of allegations, Weekly Shonen Jump’s manga Yuuna and the Haunted Hot Springs (ゆらぎ荘の幽奈さん) confirms an anime adaption in the magazine sold today. Not much has been revealed so far. It is estimated that information about the cast and staff members will be available in Jump Festa 2018, which will be held from 16th to 17th December.
The story follows a high school student, Kogarashi Fuyuzora, who is poor and lives in a cheap hot springs inn. The place is in fact the home to a spirt called Yuuna, as well as the home to many female tenants. His life and the sexy ladies are then intertwined, leading to various embarrassing and funny situations.
Yuuna and the Haunted Hot Springs is written and illustrated by Tadahiro Miura (ミウラ タダヒロ). Ever since its debut in the all-age Weekly Shonen Jump in October 2016, it has been accused of being too sexual for children and teenagers. Although the characters are not involved in any kinds of sexual intercourse, there are indeed various displays of sexual suggestiveness. The manga is still on-going.
