TV anime Violet Evergarden (ヴァイオレット・エヴァーガーデン) has made the forth trailer available on YouTube.
Produced by Kyoto Animation and directed by Taichi Ishidate (Kyoukai no Kanata), the show is adapted from Kana Akatsuki’s (暁 佳奈) light novels of the same title. The book series has two volumes released in 2015 and 2016.
The anime will air in January 2018 in Japan, and stream worldwide on Netflix starting 2018 Spring.
▍Story
Auto Memory Dolls are created by a scientist to help humans with writing. Later, they become common and even rented out to people who need their services.
Violet Evergarden is one of them. Initially a doll made for fighting in wars, she now works at CH postal company and takes up jobs from different clients. As a machine learning how to love and be loved, what kind of story will she write for herself?
