Adventure manga series Golden Kamuy’s (ゴールデンカムイ) TV anime adaption has just released the first trailer to unveil the main cast members as well as the schedule.
The manga is illustrated and written by Satoru Noda (野田サトル). It has been serialised on Weekly Shonen Jump starting 2014. Hitoshi Nanba (GOSICK) is directing the anime at Geno Studio. Juni Taisen’s screenwriter Noboru Takagi is writing the script.
The show will arrive in April 2018.

▍Story
After the Russo-Japanese War, Saichi Sugimoto becomes a miner in Hokkaido in order to cure his fallen comrade’s sick wife. Rumor has it a colossal gold stash is hidden in the Ainu region, and Saichi decides to go searching for it. Soon he encounters an Ainu girl, Asirpa, who has lost her father in a robbery. With the survival skills and Ainu’s wisdom Asirpa has as well as the strength Saichi possesses, they head for the gold stash in the cold wild Hokkaido while confronting enemies of all sorts.
