Starting the demo, the first thing that takes you by surprise is how well the character models are made! The game wonderfully captures the essence of each character from the original series. Although I must say, the super saiyan hair does look a little too rigid in the game.
The game features an ARPG like control which makes it feel very much like Dragon Ball games from other platforms. The controls were quite responsive and it did create a good impact when in combat.
The combat, in particular, was something that really stood out in the game’s overall experience. Chaining basic attacks and skills come almost seamlessly, giving players an immersive fast-paced combat. To top it all off, the skill animations and cutscenes are incredibly impressive.
The only thing that seems a little odd about the game is the UI. There isn’t something particularly wrong with it… it’s just, if you spent so much effort in making the gameplay look amazing, why would you put a chat window and quest window there to cover it up? Other than that, the game is definitely something I look forward to playing when it is released!
According to the game’s official website, the Dragon Ball the Strongest War will cover the story of the original Dragon Ball series and the Dragon Ball Z series that followed. No release date has been announced for the game as of right now. Stay tuned to QooApp for the latest news!
