As things kick off at GameStart this year, Disney started the convention with a special announcement at their booth today (13th October), announcing a new mobile game created by Singaporean developers goGame. The new game is titled Disney Epic Quest is already available for pre-registration!
The game is an Action RPG which will feature all your favorite characters from the Disney and Pixar universe. Players will be able to create teams of three heroes and embark on epic adventures fighting against virus-infected pixels. Disney Epic Quest will support multiplayer co-op as feature real-time PvP.
In singleplayer mode, players will be able to use up to three different characters, one at a time, to take on different stages, whilst in co-op mode, each player will take control of one character and work together to clear different stages and take on epic boss fights!
Each character in the game will have 3 basic skills and one ultimate skill. Each character skill is unique to the character and will reference the character’s iconic actions in the game to really give players the feel of playing as their favorite Disney/Pixar character from the big screen on your small screen. All the characters will be categorized into different types, and within those types, there will also be sub-classes that will further determine each character’s role in the game.
In addition to raising character’s levels, players will also be able to equip different items to their characters. Each item will have different traits and effects which will help players further develop their favorite characters in a way that truly fits their playstyle! Players will also be able to equip characters with different skins.
Disney Epic Quest is expected for Spring 2019.
