In June 2017, GEO INTERACTIVE and YAMATO CREW announced that they will be developing Space Battle Ship Yamato 2199: The Last Hope 365 (宇宙戦艦ヤマト2199～最後の希望365～), a Space Battleship Yamato 20199 mobile spin-off game set to release in Summer 2017. The game’s official website was updated on 20th February announcing that the game’s development has been terminated.
The announcement does not explain the reasons as to why the game’s development has been terminated, but the announcement apologizes to all the fans waiting for the game and that all pre-registration information will be taken care of responsibly.
Space Battle Ship Yamato 2199: The Last Hope 365 is based on the world setting of the TV Space Battleship Yamato 2199 TV anime series which aired in 2013. The game was supposed to continue the original series. Players will have up upgrade the Yamato space battleship to defend against the Gamilla.
