Produced by voice actor Kimura Ryouhei (木村良平) and Nobuhiko Okamoto (岡本信彥), otome smartphone game The God Act (神様しばい) officially starts pre-registration.
The God Act was originally a project developed by the voice actors at an otome online radio show, Electric Shock Girl’s Smile. A smartphone game was later announced this March and is expected to be released this Autumn.
The game centers around the god of Norse mythology Loki as he meets a genus high schooler Mahiro on earth. Their story starts as they join the drama club in Nakatsu Gakuin High School and develop bonds with other club members.
Illustrator Tama (たま), who also creates a number of illustrations for VOCALOID, is in charge of the character designs. The script is supervised by scriptwriter and actor Fumiya Matsuzaki (松崎史和).
Prologue and 1st episode is free. Game fee (price not yet confirmed) will be charged for the contents afterwards.
▍Gameplay
The game mainly features text-based story as players can follow the growing path of the character as they become a stage actor.
Player can enjoy the dramatic performance of the voice actors as the stage performance inside the main story are presented with binaural recording. It is known to create a 3-D stereo sound sensation for the listener of actually being in the room with the performers or instruments.
Puzzle-solving element is also included, which allows players to enhance the intimacy level of the characters and unlock their side story.
