DeNA announces a new smartphone game for Yoshihiro Togashi’s (冨樫 義博) hit manga HUNTER×HUNTER, under the title of HUNTER×HUNTER ARENA BATTLE.
Although no further details are revealed, the game is described under the slogan of “Nen Colliding, A Battle on the Board”(念がぶつかる、盤上バトル). It seems to be a free-to-play card battle game with optional in-game purchases. The game is still under development by NTV and ForGroove.
A mysterious is also opened where players will be led to take the Hunter Examination. After passing the test, players will be able to obtain a special “Hunter license” smartphone wallpaper.
