Bandai Namco’s latest mobile RPG Sword Art Online Alicization Braiding is officially renamed as Sword Art Online Alicization Rising Steel. The pre-registration of the game also starts today (29th August).
An english website is also launched, announcing an English version of the game. The release date is not yet confirmed but it will be free-to-play with in-game purchases available.

Set in the ever expanding virtual reality known as the “Underworld”, players will be able to take adventure with the signature SAO characters including Kirito, Eugeo, and Alice. New episodes from the light novel series creator, Reki Kawahara (川原 礫), will be available, introducing a new character to the series.

Young adventurer Kirito awoke in a virtual world called the “Underworld”. There, he met a woodcutter named Eugeo, as well as many other residents.
Those moments of connection and conflict would challenge the very rules that govern that world.

▍Game System
Players will be able to change the character’s incarnation and unleash the unique skills.
Three types of skills will be available, including assault, break and buff. Different amounts of mana is needed for each skill, so strategy will be needed on the timing unleashing the skill.
Special animation will be generated for unleashing the character’s skill and special team attacks.
