▍New Gigantamax forms
■ Pikachu
Gigantamax Pikachu will grow to over 68-feet-tall, and it will gain the G-Max Volt Crash, which will damage and paralyze opponents. The design also reminds of the early version of Pikachu. Players can gain access to Gigantamax Pikachu by using your play records from Pokemon: Let’s Go Pikachu.
■ Eevee
Gigantamax Eevee comes with a new move called G-max cuddle. It causes infatuation in “opposite-gender opponents.” Similarly, you get this Pokemon by using your play records in Pokemon: Let’s Go Eevee.
■ Meowth
Gigantamax Meowth will deal damage with its G-Max Gold Rush and scatter coins over the area, creating an opportunity for an in-game cash bonus after the battle. The long form Meowth is a “early purchase” bonus for the game.
■ Charizard
Gigantamax Charizard’s G-Max Wildfire will deal damage for four turns to any Pokémon that isn’t Fire type.
■ Butterfree
Gigantamax Butterfree will use its G-Max Befuddle to scatter poisonous scales around its opponents.
▍Pokémon Wild Area Search
A new app “Pokémon Wild Area Search” is also revealed for PC, Mac, smartphones and tablets. It will allow fans to explore a diorama of Pokémon Sword and Shield’s Wild Area and find various Pokémon within it.
The app will feature a 360-degree camera and will allow users to enjoy encounters with certain Pokémon in CG form. It is scheduled to arrive in early November.
