During a livestream for the “GA FES 2019” event, a TV anime adaptation of author Jougi Shiraishi (白石定規) and illustrator Azuru’s (あずーる) light novel series “Wandering Witch: The Journey of Elaina” (魔女の旅々) was confirmed.
The novel series ranked at #9 on the 2018 Kono Light Novel ga Sugoi! (このライトノベルがすごい！) list, and at #6 on the 2019 list.
Following the magical journey of little witch Elaina, the anime series is animated by C2C and directed by The IDOLM@STER original character design Toshiyuki Kubooka (窪岡 俊之), with Tantei Opera Milky Holmes script writer Kazuyuki Fudeyasu (筆安 一幸) handling series composition, and Takeshi Oda (小田 武士) designing the characters. The release date is not yet announced.

Along the way, she would meet all kinds of people, from a country full of witches to a giant in love with his own muscles-but with each meeting, Elaina would become a small part of their story, and her own world would get a little bit bigger.
