Live-action movie of Fujita’s love comedy manga Wotakoi: Love is Hard for Otaku (ヲタクに恋は難しい) streams a new video, introducing three new cast: Kento Kaku (賀来賢人), Tsuyoshi Muro (ムロツヨシ), and Jiro Sato (佐藤二朗).
Though the character name is not yet revealed, Kaku appears to play as an otaku and also the co-worker of the protagonist Narumi and Hirotaka, who is played by Mitsuki Takahata (高畑 充希) and Kento Yamazaki (山﨑 賢人), respectively. On the other hand, Muro will play as the bartender of the bar that Hanako, played by Nanao (菜々緒), always head to.
The romantic comedy will be directed by Gintama live-action movie’s director Yuichi Fukuda (福田雄一) and distributed by Toho.
The film will open on 7th February 2020.
▍Plot
The movie center around Narumi Momose (桃瀬成海), a female office worker who usually hides her fujoshi otaku lifestyle from her co-workers. However, in her new workplace, Narumi meets her old childhood friend, Hirotaka, a handsome and capable man who is also a game otaku.
The two seem perfect for each other and Narumi suggests that they should date each other. But it turns out that love is extremely difficult for otaku.
