The official website of the TV anime “Tsukiuta. The Animation 2” (ツキウタ。 THE ANIMATION２) announced that the anime will be delayed to air in July 2020.
Based on the Idol group multimedia project “Tsukiuta.” (ツキウタ。), the second season of the TV anime was originally announced for this spring.
The anime’s theme songs “Paint It Black” and “White Sparks” are performed by the idol group Six Gravity and Procellarum respectively. The CD of the songs will be on sale on 26th June.
▍Staff and Production
The anime will feature new staff and a new studio. “Justeen” director Yukio Nishimoto (西本 由紀夫) is directing the anime at Children’s Playground Entertainment. “Yo-kai Watch” screenplay Natsuko Takahashi (高橋 ナツコ) is in charge of the series scripts. Michinori Chiba (千葉 道徳) and Ai Yokoyama (横山 愛) are adapting Jiku’s original character designs for animation.
Fujiwara (ふじわら) is again credited with the original work and original story draft.
