Voice Actor Tsubasa Yonaga (代永翼) and his agency Ken Production (賢プロダクション) announced on 18th November that he is limiting his work due to dysphonia. Tsubasa will continue to work on the titles and events that are in production or have been announced.
▍The official announcement
Tsubasa’s announcement on Twitter mentioned his was diagnosed with dysphonia around the end of 2018. After seeking medical consultation and having discussions with related parties, he finally made the decision to limit his work. He is hoping to recover completely and return to work as soon as possible.
Ken Production also apologized for the sudden announcement, stating that “We would appreciate if you could refrain from contacting us about this matter. We aim for a complete return and we look forward to your continued support.”

■ His first photo album “Briller Strade” will be out on his birthday (15th January, 2020)

▍Tsubasa Yonaga’s voice acting career
Tsubasa is known for his voice that is full of energy and power, while he is also capable for characters that are young and delicate. His major roles include Free!’s Nagisa Hazuki, IDOLiSH7’s Mitsuki Izumi (和泉三月), Yowamushi Pedal’s Sangaku Manami (真波山岳), Love Stage!!’s Izumi Sena (瀬名泉水), and many more. He is also in the band “Trignal” with Takuya Eguchi (江口拓也) and Ryōhei Kimura (木村良平).
