SQUARE ENIX revealed details of its upcoming RPG “Engage Souls” (エンゲージソウルズ), where players battle against each other in the “eJanken” (eじゃんけん) tournament.

The game is set in the world where the “Engage” tournament prevails. The tournament features elements of rock, paper, scissors, which is also known as “eJanken”. The story starts with a team of five young boys and girls aim to be “contractors” (professional players).
▍System
Players can build a card deck with different characters, and play rock, paper, and scissors to determine who attack first.
The “Soul” (ソウル) of the characters features different skills and abilities. Build your team with characters of different elements and take advantage of the battles.
Players will select characters from six academies and each character has their own storyline. You can also strengthen the characters and unlock special skills by developing bondings. PVP mode is available for you to challenge your friends.
