Studio Trigger’s upcoming original anime “BNA: Brand New Animal” (BNA ビー・エヌ・エー) reveals the first PV, additional cast and staff. It is scheduled to premiere in April 2020.
“Little Witch Academia” director Yoh Yoshinari (吉成 曜) is directing the anime at Trigger, with “Kill la Kill” head writer Kazuki Nakashima (中島 かずき) writing the scripts.
Newly announced staff includes Genice Chan as the conceptual artist, and “Sakura Wars: The Movie” key animation Yusuke Yoshigaki (芳垣 祐介) as the character designer. Anime movie“Garo: Divine Flame” key animation Naoki Takeda (竹田 直樹) is serving as chief animation director.

▍Story
In the 21st century, animal-humans are hiding in the dark.
The story follows Michiru Kagemori (影森みちる), who was a normal human being and suddenly turns in to an animal-human. She escapes to a special area named “Anima City” (アニマシティ) and meets Shirou Ogami (大神士郎), a wolf-human who hates normal humans a lot.
They share their lives and get to know about each other. When they try to find out why Michiru suddenly became animal-human, they get into a part of the large incident…
