For those of you who missed C3HK 2017 during the weekends, the Ultraman series celebrated their 50th anniversary of TV broadcasting.
The booth showcased the new generations of the Ultraman story including the ongoing Ultraman manga series written by Eiichi Shimizu and drawn by Tomohiro Shimoguchi. Although the series somewhat deviates from the original idea of Ultraman, it has somehow successfully brought new fans to the franchise. At their booth in C3, the franchise also sold figures featuring the new Ultraman armors.
The franchise also showcased their new Ultra Monster Anthropomorphic Project which transform the iconic aliens from the Ultraman series into moe monster girls!
