▍Story
The story follows Sakamichi Onoda, who is an otaku and a freshman in Sohoku High School (総北高校). Since he was a little boy, Onoda has ridden his commuter bicycle—a simple and bulky bicycle designed for short rides—for transportation and fun. A fellow freshman Shunsuke Imaizumi notices Onoda riding this bike and mocks him inwardly until he sees Onoda riding up a steep hill with little effort. He thus convinces him to join the bicycle racing club and aims for the top of the national cycling tournament.
