Based on KING RECORDS, EVIL LINE RECORDS, IDEA FACTORY, and OTOMATE’s multimedia project “Hypnosis Mic -Division Rap Battle-”, the TV anime adaptation “Hypnosis Mic -Division Rap Battle- Rhyme Anima” starts streaming a PV and confirms that the anime will premiere in July 2020.
The PV previews the anime opening theme song “Hypnosis Mic-Division Rap Battle- Rhyme Anima” performed by the all stars from the four divisions. The anime’s official website also updated the character page to introduce the members,

▍Staff and Production
The series is animated by A-1 Pictures and directed by “Yu-Gi-Oh! Arc-V” director Katsumi Ono (小野勝巳). Shin Yoshida (吉田 伸) is handling series composition, and “Black Butler’s” Minako Shiba (芝 美奈子) is designing the characters.
▍Story
In history H, war is banned and weapons are destroyed. This has caused men to fight through rap battles using Hypnosis Mics, which can be used to affect people’s sympathetic nerves and influence their thoughts. The legendary rap group, The Dirty Dawg, has split up into four groups, each representing a division of Tokyo, Japan and engaging in territorial battles using words and the Hypnosis Mics.
