The anime adaptation of Yoshitoki Ōima’s (大今良時) fantasy manga “To Your Eternity” (不滅のあなたへ) reveals the first PV, main staff and character designs. The anime is scheduled to premiere in October 2020.

▍Story
It follows the story of an immortal being whose purpose is to gain knowledge of the world. It is able to take the shape of those around that have a strong impetus. At first, It is a sphere. After that, it imitates the form of a rock and then the moss atop. When an injured, a lone wolf comes limping by and lays down to die, It takes on the form of the animal. Finally, it gains consciousness and begins to traverse the empty tundra until It meets a boy.
The boy lives alone in a ghost town, which the adults abandoned long ago in search of the paradise said to exist far beyond the endless sea of white tundra. However, their efforts were for naught, and now the boy is in a critical state. Acquiring the form of the boy, It sets off on a never-ending journey, in search of new experiences, places, and people.
▍Staff and Production
The series is animated by Brains Base. “Naruto Shippūden” movie series director Masahiko Murata (むらた 雅彦) is directing the series, while “Pokémon’s” Shinzō Fujita (藤田 伸三) writing the script and Koji Yabuno (薮野 浩二) designing the characters.
The anime will premiere on NHK Educational in October, and it will have 20 episodes.
